The Year of Creation

Another year, another resolution blog post.

2016 was the year I started making art on a regular basis, joined Get Messy, moved to another country, paid off my credit cards, and started grad school. Not so great things included quitting a really great job, saying goodbye to friends, getting a student loan for said grad school, and dealing with the loneliness of being in a new place. Despite the bad, there was a lot of momentum last year and I want to continue that into the new year.

That is why I have chosen Creation as my word this year.

I want to continue creating by working on Colour Blast 2017 (more on that in a future blog post), the Daily Moleskin project started by Jules, continue with Get Messy art journaling, keep up with my pen pals, draw more, and write more creative writing/poetry.

This is in addition to completing my graduate degree, writing a 6,000 word final project, traveling to Europe, China and NYC, doing internships, reading 20 books, and getting a job.

So welcome 2017 and welcome to another year of production.
